Alright, I found a way to approve follower requests. Click on the "More" option, click on "Follower Requests", then, under that, click "Follower Requests". Then, you should be able to see the follow requests you've been given. Click "Accept" on all of them

Shouldn't there be an area in your notifications where you can accept stuff like that? I don't know, I have that option turned off on my account. I could show you how to turn that option off if you want
